Chickpea Tikka Masala Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can (~15 oz) of low sodium chickpeas, rinsed
  • ΒΌ cup of canned low sodium diced tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp of tahini
  • 2 Tbsp of skim milk
  • 1 Tbsp of garam masala
  • 2 tsp of curry powder
  • 2 tsp of cumin
  • 2 tsp of paprika
  • 2 tsp of turmeric
  • 1 tsp of fresh grated ginger

Directions

  1. Place chickpeas, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, grated ginger, tahini, skim milk in food processer or blender.
  2. Blend together until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add rest of spices to mixture.
  4. Blend until consistency is evenly smooth throughout batch.
  5. Serve with your choice of vegetables or whole grain crackers.
